FF Gold - Cuffs
Metal handcuffs that take their appearance just as seriously as their function. The gold-plated surface makes them something more than tools - an accessory that is seen and felt in the room. The neat keys with their crown handles turn unlocking into a part of the experience in its own right. When the weight of the metal closes around the wrists, moments become ceremonies.
For couples who want to explore power exchange with equipment that looks as good as it works. When aesthetics matter just as much as holding power itself.
Locking Mechanism & Safety
Authentic ratchet locks - not quick-release imitations. Every click as the cuffs tighten is a tangible promise to stay in place until the key is turned. The mechanism locks in stages and will not release until the correct key is used. This is the intensity between playfulness and seriousness.
The double lock functions as a safety catch - press the small lever on the side of the lock body to prevent the ratchet from tightening further. A necessary safeguard against accidental tightening when the wrists move or the body shifts. Engage the double lock as soon as the cuffs are comfortably fitted.
Two keys are included - always keep one within reach, never hidden or too far away. Without the key, there is no release. Intensity level: Medium to Intense. A safeword is not sufficient here - the restrained partner must either be able to reach the key themselves or have absolute confidence that their partner is present.
Comfort & Fit
The ratchet mechanism adjusts in stages and fits wrists approximately 5-8 cm in diameter. The metal bow completely surrounds the wrist - the smooth interior has no sharp edges, but it is still cold metal directly against the skin. No lining, no padding. Longer sessions may leave ring-shaped marks where the metal has rested.
The chain connection between the cuffs is short - approximately four links - which significantly limits freedom of movement. The hands are held close together, either in front of the body or behind the back. If you want comfortable room to move for a longer period, this is not the right pair. If you want to feel the restriction immediately and clearly - then they are perfect.
The weight of the metal is a constant reminder that they are there. It is not easy to forget that you are wearing them.
Material & Finish
Solid metal cuffs with a fully gold-plated surface. The finish catches light and attention - whether they are hanging on the wall or being worn. Every detail is visible: the ratchet teeth inside the lock body, the screws holding the mechanism, the rivets in the chain links. Nothing is hidden.
The gold plating is durable but does not withstand heavy abrasion against metal rings or repeated drops onto a hard floor. The material holds up to its intended use - this is not fragility, but rather a reminder to treat them as the investment they are.
The crown handles on the keys create a sense of ceremony. They are large enough to handle even when your fingers are trembling slightly, yet small enough to disappear discreetly in a drawer.
Use
Place the cuffs around the wrists with the lock body facing outward - the ratchet should be able to tighten in the correct direction. Press them together until they fit comfortably without squeezing. Immediately activate the double lock by pressing the lever on the side of the lock. This is non-negotiable if you are planning longer sessions.
Hands in front of the body provide the greatest freedom of movement and security for the restrained person. Behind the back, the intensity increases significantly - balance changes and helplessness is intensified. Always start with the hands in front if it is your first time.
The ratchet locks make no sound when the partner moves or pulls on the chain - they simply stay in place. Release is possible only with the key. Plan for this. Test the mechanism before anyone is restrained, and make sure both of you know how the lock and double lock work.
Feel free to combine them with ankle cuffs or other equipment in the same series for a cohesive aesthetic. The chain links can be attached to other hooks or rings if you want to integrate them into more complex bondage.
Care
Wipe with a slightly damp cloth after use. Avoid rinsing directly under water - moisture in the ratchet mechanism can cause rust over time. Dry immediately if the metal gets wet.
Store them with the keys visible and accessible. Never hidden at the back of a dresser or in a separate drawer. They need to be there when they are needed.
Check the ratchet mechanism regularly - it should click smoothly and release cleanly when the key is turned. If it catches or sticks, gently clean it with a dry toothbrush to remove dust.
The gold finish is best preserved by avoiding contact with moisture, perfumes, and harsh cleaning products. Store them in a dry place, preferably in a separate bag or box where the metal will not scratch against anything else.
